The Galveston Classic
The Galveston Classic was founded in 2017 as the premier fly fishing tournament on the upper Texas coast. It's grown from 42 anglers in its inaugural year to 100 participants last year.

This year's Galveston Classic will be a two-day tournament, taking place on June 16th & 17th out of Harborwalk Marina. Anglers will compete to catch the 4 best slot redfish (20-28") in a catch, photo and release tournament.
This year will be capped at 50 spots, or 100 anglers. Entry is $400 per team.

Aside from the slot tournament, anglers may also enter the optional sidepots ($50 per sidepot), which include longest redfish (no slot limit), longest sheepshead, and most spots on a redfish (no slot limit, both sides of one fish).

The Cocky SOB Award will also be back! In 2020, Brian Little and Gabriel Rivas took home the inaugural honors for the SOB Award. No one was cocky enough in '21, and B Little and Gabe took the trophy again in '22! Will they Three-pete?

Neither The Galveston Classic Tournament, nor any of its sponsors, profit from entry fees or donations. All proceeds are donated to the Galveston Bay Foundation.
